The weekend of July 14-15 is the Fed Cup. Stowe is buzzing, tennis stadium is about finished, all tickets are sold out but some are available through eBay plus some hotel packages are still available.
Even if you don't have tickets to the matches it will be a great weekend to be in Stowe, lots of events surrounding the tournament. Also many volunteers are needed to make this work and you can volunteer and likely get to see some tennis.
