Friday, Feb 2 is the celebration of the first annual Woodchuck Day in Vermont. Nationally it is known as Groundhog Day but if you look up the definition of Gorundhog it reads "Woodchuck".
Vermonters have been known as Woodchucks for years and are proud of it. As part of the celebration the Stowe Mountain Resort will be selling lift tickets for the day at $35.00.
Skiing has been excellent from the ankles down but cold but the neck up. The forecast is for a warming trend starting tomorrow, Tuesday with some light snow fall this weekend. Come and enjoy the start of the 2nd half of what is turning out to be a great skiing and riding season although it started very late.

Sounds like great conditions finally!
Actually conditions have been pretty good for 2-3 weeks, just taken a while to get the word out. The temps for Thursday & Friday are suppose to be back to normal.
